Known History
Qelyn Ellyllon first publicly came into the scene is early 2006, when he was granted Primogency of his Clan in Phoenix, AZ. After serving as Primogen, he rose to the rank of Seneschal, in which he served under the Ventrue Elder Thomas Allen and then under Nosferatu Thomas Rialt, the latter of which is a close ally of Qelyn. When Rialt stepped down as Prince in early 2008, Qelyn assumed the mantle of Prince until he abdicated the throne to Thomas Allen in 2009. Qelyn then went on to serve as Secretariat to both former Tremere Justicar di Zagreb and current Justicar Lotharius.

Qelyn then assumed the title of Prince of Phoenix again in late 2010, when Brujah Elder Arkady Volkov stepped down. In mid-2011, Qelyn had his Praxis taken from him by the current Prince of Phoenix, Eddie Darling. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Rumors
All his Thaumaturgical power is derived from his pink tie.

He is only allied with Prince Kathrin Braddock because he is trying to sleep with her.

His power isn't in the pink tie, but rather, in his pocketwatch, which he never shows in public. The tie, rather, was a gift from a certain lady, and he refuses to part with it.

He only has love for blood magic and dead things hence his love affair with Doctor Reinhardt.

He was in a cat fight with Melody Copper over Doctor Reinhardt.

Alias(es): None publicly known

Real Name: Presumably, Virgil Deems

Apparent Age: early 30s

Concept: Financier turned Kindred politician, attempting to modernize old world sensibilities.

Physical description: A bit over six feet tall, with a light brown pony tail, goatee, and glasses, Virgil nearly always wears a well-tailored suit and sports a fashionable cane of some sort. He also generally has a healthier pallor than most Kindred [OOC: Blush of Health] and is quick to smile.

Detailed Status:

* Acknowledged by Queen Anne of London
* Cherished by Sheldon Rawlinson of Clan Ventrue
* Esteemed by Prince Mordekai MacPherson of Bloomington, Indiana
* Resourceful by Seneschal (later, Prince) Lady Cassandra Blackwell of Bloomington, Indiana
* Influential by Prince Mordekai MacPherson of Bloomington, Indiana
* Trustworthy by Seneschal (later, Prince) Lady Cassandra Blackwell of Bloomington, Indiana
* Exalted, Famous, and Well-Known as Prince of San Francisco

Character Information
Known History
Virgil moved to Indiana from Great Britain in 2004, rapidly acquiring Primogenship in the Court of Vivianne de Montrachet. He later served as Keeper of Elysium and then Seneschal for successive Princes of Bloomington, Indiana before moving to San Francisco, where he soon took up the position of Keeper and then Seneschal in the Court of Daniel Book. In late August of 2009, he seized Praxis when Book stepped down, and he has been Prince of the City by the Bay since.

He is an active correspondent, posting fairly frequently to the Camarilla fora and is known to be fairly well-spoken. [OOC: Reputation: Articulate Politician]

At the "Convention of Fire" during the 2011 New Orleans Grand Masquerade, Virgil was the Camarilla Ventrue delegate.

Coterie
None publicly known.

Allies
Virgil seems to have remarkably congenial relations with neighboring Princes and much of his Court. To outward appearances, he is also rather well-respected by his Clan. He also seems on reasonably good terms with local archons, notably Shanghai Kelly and Archon Alecto.

Enemies
Oddly, Virgil doesn't seem to have many public or visible enemies. He does have a significant Kuei Jin presence in his Domain, however, and the Princes of San Francisco have long had a rocky relationship with the Eastern Kindred. He has had some somewhat heated exchanges on national fora, however.

The Roast of Shanghai Kelly
Virgil Deems at the Roast. Spoiler alert: it ends with a quote!

Quotes
* "What virtues one believes their sire to embody does both credit."
* "Ingenious gentlemen, we." -- Virgil, being literary.
* "Self-doubt is reasonable in so much as it prevents you from making rash decisions driven primarily by ignorance or emotion. The moment your doubts stop you from acting decisively when time is of the essence, they need to be quashed."
* "Indeed, I do not hate the Rebellion for their depredations. I pity them for deluding themselves into believing that they are truly "free" when they bind themselves with Blood to an ideology which brooks no dissent, enforced with violence, and in service to perverse and divisive goals."
* "The Camarilla I fight for every night is not a Camarilla of tyranny and oppression of thought. It is a society that recognizes that we are all Kindred and does what is necessary that we might survive into future nights, past future threats. It is a group of Kindred who works tirelessly to protect the Masquerade, even as those who would see us dead detonate explosives in internationally-recognized landmarks. We are stronger through our dissent and our recognition that through such dissent, we build toward a more perfect truth."

Rumors
This is something it would be far more appropriate for others to fill in, and I invite others to do so. The following have all been suggested or added by others:

* Virgil is a fan of baseball.
* Virgil and Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom are former lovers, having had an affair while Newsom was Mayor of San Francisco.
*Known to some as "Big Daddy" VD
* While he intentionally maintains a high-humanity "nice guy" image, makes a point of hiring very bad people and turning a blind eye when they "take care of problems" without troubling him with the details
*Like every other Prince of San Francisco the throne will take his sanity.
*Virgil has a thesaurus as a ghoul.
*[ Insert obligatory Setite rumor here. ]
* Thinks of himself as the New World's Queen Anne. As such, has been arranging to install compliant Princes in the neighboring Domains.
*Stark raving mad. He is Prince of San Francisco, after all. Must be something in the water. Err, blood.
*Keeps Mark Richardson as his seneschal because the Malkavian is good in bed.
* Lady Elizabeth of York thought he might be a homosexual.
* Lady Elizabeth also called him quite the dandy.
* In honor of Geoffrey Tanner, at Tanner's memorial service, Virgil punched William Stanford in the face.
* Can only work with and thus only appoints Court officers that are also crazy or broken or often both.
* Drinks the Justicarate's koolaid.

Character Information

Preston has served the Camarilla in every Courtly position. He gets along unusually well with most Brujah despite his always-proper bearing and his mutually-antagonistic relationship with the Anarchs. Generally loathe to commit violence, he has been more willing to engage in it after several years of fighting the enemies of the California Camarilla. While rumor has it that he was once a vibrant and joyful young man, in more recent years he is cold and somber to a fault.

Known History
Preston is known to have been born in Pennsylvania before the War Between the States, and to have left the country for Oxford just before the fighting began. Embraced in England and undergoing his Accounting in Genoa, he eventually struck out on his own. Traveling through the Dark Continent and Asia, he eventually made his haven outside Calcutta, and after India gained independence, he made his haven in South Africa. When his Sire died in early 2006, Preston returned to the States and settled down in California for several years. Over the course of the last year, he has moved to Chicago where he quickly became Seneschal, and then Prince.

That's not even his hat!
Shanghai Kelly didn't get his name for being a famous trader, but rather, for that being the city he picked up most of his STDs.
Shanghai Kelly keeps getting beat by the Chicken Hawk. It's embarrassing, but he keeps trying.
Likes to shanghai kindred from San Francisco under Prince Virgil Deems.
Shanghai doesn't hate Kuei Jin because of their strange powers or the war--but he's got horrible memories of some bad sweet-and-sour chicken.
Shanghai is offering three major boons as a dowry to marry Virgilia Two-Tails so he doesn't have to deal with her anymore.
Fucked a Nos, her sire came in and threatened a shotgun wedding... and Shanghai ran away.

*Tireless by Word of Primogen Vladius

Character Information
Fiercely loyal to Clan Tremere, sometimes to his detriment, he views the concept of his clan more as a philosophy and a way of life, rather than a machine which he is a cog.

Known History
Warchild has attested to his history as a mortal during the time the English were at war with the French. He has mentioned he grew up on a Man o War named the HMS Righteous Endeavor where he was a Gunnery and Carpenters assistant, as he grew older, he was groomed and placed as a Leftenant of His Majesty's Royal Marines aboard his same ship.

The first mention of the Kindred known as Winston Warchild in Kindred History was before the Bulchevik revolution in Moscow.
During a bloody clan war the Brujah purged several of theirs, during that time Warchild has mentioned that he saw his Sire ripped apart by a mob of angry Brujah, of whom he has never forgiven or forgotten. Nearly losing his own life he left Moscow by aid of Irena Kalishnikov.
He wasn't heard from again for another 15 years until when he was Acknowledged in Vienna Austria.

Warchild served Clan Tremere as a driver and security agent for other notable Tremere and guests. Not much of note was chronicled in the annals of Kindred History about him until he arrived in Santa Rosa California in the early part of the 21st century.
He became Primogen under Prince Brian Fischer, and then eventually Prince after taking Praxis from the Gangrel Oz. Oz had outlawed magic in his Domain, which the Tremere would not suffer.

During his reign his Domain was beset by many outside problems, including a Sabbat invasion. Each challange that arose, Warchild and his populace overcame them.

During the time when Brujah across the world lost their control, Warchild was affected as well, he ended up alone in a fight against the united Clan of Brujah in Sonoma County in which he was the sole Kindred standing in the aftermath. This was when Elissa Maxwell took the opportunity to seize Praxis for Marcus Jovan, which Warchild did not contest.

Warchild has started his laborious attempt at repairing his name, and has accepted the position of Keeper of Elysium under the Kindred who took his Praxis.
