Northern Virginia, formally referred to as the ''Old Dominion'', is one of the oldest Camarilla Domains in North America. Students of history know that many of her neighboring Domains were formed from her territory as mortal and Kindred populations expanded -- much as the territories of several other states were carved from what was originally the British Colony of Virginia.

Since the fall of Fredericksburg to her south years ago, the Old Dominion has been the southern frontier of the Camarilla in the Mid-Atlantic. In addition to Sabbat incursion from the south, there are notable populations of lupines in both "normal" (Great Falls) and "evil" (not far from Manassas) flavors. There are angels, demons, true mages, cults, occasional water dragons, cranky elders, Anarch bikers, weird elder things living underground, zombie cows, and an auction house on Route 28 heading north from Manassas which is reputed to be some sort of evil ley line nexus. Arlington National Cemetery has a noted necropolis and isn't a fun place to visit the Shadowlands. The scrutiny upon numerous high-security mortal government locations (the Pentagon, Quantico, FBI and CIA headquarters, Reagan and Dulles International Airports) is intense ... and those are just the government facilities most people ''know about''.

==Known History==
Mattias came to North America sometime late last decade, most recently from Berlin. He found a home in Northern Virginia, which lived up to the "Wild, Wild West" stereotype of American Kindred behavior he'd heard stories about. His earliest times in Northern Virginia were spent in near-constant combat with the Sabbat, as they built up to their attempted siege of the greater DC metropolitan area. During this time, Mattias earned the respect of Scourge Uma Nottingham of Clan Tzimisce, who named him her Deputy.

Mattias continued to serve in this position for some time, and eventually rose in stature to speak for his Clan as Primogen. Towards the end of Adrian Florent's tumultuous reign in Northern Virginia, Mattias was named Sheriff ... and only a few weeks later, on December 1, 2010, Florent went into a meeting with most of the Primogen and Officers -- from which Adrian fled the Domain and Mattias emerged as the 52nd Prince of the Old Dominion (thereby "completing the deck").

At the opening ceremonies of Baltimore's ''Glitter & Gloom'' of March 2014, the Harpy of Krakow relayed the announcement from Prince Lucjan Czeberowski, who had ''Acknowledged'' him many years before, that Mattias was recognized as a Sovereign Prince.

==Known History==
Yonna is a Child of Haqim of Ukrainian heritage who is known to be the childe of Blake Weston, a loyal member of the Johannesburg domain. She comes from a strong military background and has spent many years working in both national intelligence and a private "security" firm. When asked, she will say that she was merely a soldier in the Army. That's her story and she's sticking to it.

Since coming to America she has acted as the Primogen for the Children of Haqim in Athens before moving to the domain of Savannah. In Savannah she was the first choice of Prince James Frederick Krieger for the position of Seneschal - a decision that has earned both her and the former Prince no small shortage of questioning from their respective clans. However, when both Prince and Seneschal surpassed the two year anniversary of a peaceful reign, they seemed to have proven their detractors wrong.

During her tenure in America she has become known for both her martial prowess and as a voice of calm reason within the domain. While her former Prince jokingly refered to her as 'Seneschal Conscience,' it was a nickname that she was proud to bear.

After acting as Seneschal for close to three years, Tatiyana took Praxis of Savannah in July 2013. Although her reign has not been calm or uneventful, she has held a strong administration and leads her people well. These nights she uses her position within the Camarilla to lobby for greater rights for the Children of Haqim within her chosen Sect.

Zak claims to have taken part in the Vietnam War in various infantry capacities... He also claims to have fought in many wars since then as some sort of black ops soldier. Certain things that cannot be denied, however, are that Zak normally turns to violence as either a first or second option to resolving conflict, and that Zak is extremely skilled with computers and electronic devices. He claims that his proficiency with electronics is a result of his work with the military; furthermore, he claims that had he not been drafted into the Vietnam War, he would have gone on to become one of the most brilliant scientists that the world has ever seen.

Despite these setbacks to his brilliance, Zak DuCard has recently established MartyTEK to fulfill his dream of becoming a billionaire industrialist. Pierrot came to the Marble Court from Marseilles, and was introduced to society there by Louisa Martin and her childer [[Lysandra Martin]]. He wears a large, very finely crafted (Crafts x 6) gold ring, inlaid with emerald, which he obtained shortly after arriving in Washington. The Primogen Council of the Marble Court chose him as their Harpy in the summer of 2012, and he continued to enjoy the Council's support after [[Eddie Dervish]] claimed Praxis following Prince Datillo's disappearance.

In the summer of 2013, Prince [[Greggor]], upon his ascension to the throne, named Pierrot his Seneschal. Greggor's reign was cut tragically short when he was assassinated by [[Ellie Xian]] six nights later. In the immediate aftermath, Pierrot refused to yield his post as Seneschal until the investigation into Greggor's disappearance had confirmed his demise, and until the Domain gathered so that Praxis could, in accordance with proper decorum, be claimed in person. Greggor's successor as Prince, [[Cross Paige]], offered Pierrot a place as Keeper, which Pierrot publicly declined that evening -- Pierrot eventually accepted a position as Primogen, and kept a relatively low profile until drawn out of hiding by the next event described here.

In November of 2013 at the tournament hosted by Prince [[Kelly]], Pierrot lost to the eventual victor in the melee, Seneschal [[Alicia Knight]] of Baltimore -- but their contest was so sporting that she awarded him her favor in support of his competition in the joust ... where he lost even more narrowly to the eventual champions, Prince [[Simon Ashe]] of Cleveland and his direwolf mount (also the Lady of Love and Beauty as crowned by Prince Ashe), Primogen [[Daciana Roman]] of Northern Virginia. Pierrot's mount was not as impressive as Primogen Roman, as it was not another Kindred, but was instead a steed which snorted smoke, breathed fire and was made entirely of metal, yet was somehow animated to act just like a "real" horse. Mattias came to North America sometime late last decade, most recently from Berlin. He found a home in Northern Virginia, which lived up to the "Wild, Wild West" stereotype of American Kindred behavior he'd heard stories about. His earliest times in Northern Virginia were spent in near-constant combat with the Sabbat, as they built up to their attempted siege of the greater DC metropolitan area. During this time, Mattias earned the respect of Scourge Uma Nottingham of Clan Tzimisce, who named him her Deputy.

Mattias continued to serve in this position for some time, and eventually rose in stature to speak for his Clan as Primogen. Towards the end of Adrian Florent's tumultuous reign in Northern Virginia, Mattias was named Sheriff ... and only a few weeks later, on December 1, 2010, Florent went into a meeting with most of the Primogen and Officers -- from which Adrian fled the Domain and Mattias emerged as the 52nd Prince of the Old Dominion (thereby "completing the deck").

At the opening ceremonies of Baltimore's ''Glitter & Gloom'' of March 2014, the Harpy of Krakow relayed the announcement from Prince Lucjan Czeberowski, who had ''Acknowledged'' him many years before, that Mattias was recognized as a Sovereign Prince.

Mattias came to North America sometime late last decade, most recently from Berlin. He found a home in Northern Virginia, which lived up to the "Wild, Wild West" stereotype of American Kindred behavior he'd heard stories about. His earliest times in Northern Virginia were spent in near-constant combat with the Sabbat, as they built up to their attempted siege of the greater DC metropolitan area. During this time, Mattias earned the respect of Scourge Uma Nottingham of Clan Tzimisce, who named him her Deputy.

Mattias continued to serve in this position for some time, and eventually rose in stature to speak for his Clan as Primogen. Towards the end of Adrian Florent's tumultuous reign in Northern Virginia, Mattias was named Sheriff ... and only a few weeks later, on December 1, 2010, Florent went into a meeting with most of the Primogen and Officers -- from which Adrian fled the Domain and Mattias emerged as the 52nd Prince of the Old Dominion (thereby "completing the deck").

At the opening ceremonies of Baltimore's ''Glitter & Gloom'' of March 2014, the Harpy of Krakow relayed the announcement from Prince Lucjan Czeberowski, who had ''Acknowledged'' him many years before, that Mattias was recognized as a Sovereign Prince.

Mattias came to North America sometime late last decade, most recently from Berlin. He found a home in Northern Virginia, which lived up to the "Wild, Wild West" stereotype of American Kindred behavior he'd heard stories about. His earliest times in Northern Virginia were spent in near-constant combat with the Sabbat, as they built up to their attempted siege of the greater DC metropolitan area. During this time, Mattias earned the respect of Scourge Uma Nottingham of Clan Tzimisce, who named him her Deputy.

Mattias continued to serve in this position for some time, and eventually rose in stature to speak for his Clan as Primogen. Towards the end of Adrian Florent's tumultuous reign in Northern Virginia, Mattias was named Sheriff ... and only a few weeks later, on December 1, 2010, Florent went into a meeting with most of the Primogen and Officers -- from which Adrian fled the Domain and Mattias emerged as the 52nd Prince of the Old Dominion (thereby "completing the deck").

At the opening ceremonies of Baltimore's ''Glitter & Gloom'' of March 2014, the Harpy of Krakow relayed the announcement from Prince Lucjan Czeberowski, who had ''Acknowledged'' him many years before, that Mattias was recognized as a Sovereign Prince.

He wears a large, very finely crafted (Crafts x 6) gold ring, inlaid with emerald, which he obtained shortly after arriving in Washington. The Primogen Council of the Marble Court chose him as their Harpy in the summer of 2012, and he continued to enjoy the Council's support after [[Eddie Dervish]] claimed Praxis following Prince Datillo's disappearance.

In the summer of 2013, Prince [[Greggor]], upon his ascension to the throne, named Pierrot his Seneschal. Greggor's reign was cut tragically short when he was assassinated by [[Ellie Xian]] six nights later. In the immediate aftermath, Pierrot refused to yield his post as Seneschal until the investigation into Greggor's disappearance had confirmed his demise, and until the Domain gathered so that Praxis could, in accordance with proper decorum, be claimed in person. Greggor's successor as Prince, [[Cross Paige]], offered Pierrot a place as Keeper, which Pierrot publicly declined that evening -- Pierrot eventually accepted a position as Primogen, and kept a relatively low profile until drawn out of hiding by the next event described here.

In November of 2013 at the tournament hosted by Prince [[Kelly]], Pierrot lost to the eventual victor in the melee, Seneschal [[Alicia Knight]] of Baltimore -- but their contest was so sporting that she awarded him her favor in support of his competition in the joust ... where he lost even more narrowly to the eventual champions, Prince [[Simon Ashe]] of Cleveland and his direwolf mount (also the Lady of Love and Beauty as crowned by Prince Ashe), Primogen [[Daciana Roman]] of Northern Virginia. Northern Virginia, formally referred to as the ''Old Dominion'', is one of the oldest Camarilla Domains in North America. Students of history know that many of her neighboring Domains were formed from her territory as mortal and Kindred populations expanded -- much as the territories of several other states were carved from what was originally the British Colony of Virginia.

Since the fall of Fredericksburg to her south years ago, the Old Dominion has been the southern frontier of the Camarilla in the Mid-Atlantic. In addition to Sabbat incursion from the south, there are notable populations of lupines in both "normal" (Great Falls) and "evil" (not far from Manassas) flavors. There are angels, demons, true mages, cults, occasional water dragons, cranky elders, Anarch bikers, weird elder things living underground, zombie cows, and an auction house on Route 28 heading north from Manassas which is reputed to be some sort of evil ley line nexus. Arlington National Cemetery has a noted necropolis and isn't a fun place to visit the Shadowlands. The scrutiny upon numerous high-security mortal government locations (the Pentagon, Quantico, FBI and CIA headquarters, Reagan and Dulles International Airports) is intense ... and those are just the government facilities most people ''know about''.

Mattias came to North America sometime late last decade, most recently from Berlin. He found a home in Northern Virginia, which lived up to the "Wild, Wild West" stereotype of American Kindred behavior he'd heard stories about. His earliest times in Northern Virginia were spent in near-constant combat with the Sabbat, as they built up to their attempted siege of the greater DC metropolitan area. During this time, Mattias earned the respect of Scourge Uma Nottingham of Clan Tzimisce, who named him her Deputy.

Mattias continued to serve in this position for some time, and eventually rose in stature to speak for his Clan as Primogen. Towards the end of Adrian Florent's tumultuous reign in Northern Virginia, Mattias was named Sheriff ... and only a few weeks later, on December 1, 2010, Florent went into a meeting with most of the Primogen and Officers -- from which Adrian fled the Domain and Mattias emerged as the 52nd Prince of the Old Dominion (thereby "completing the deck").

Greggor's reign was cut tragically short when he was assassinated by [[Ellie Xian]] six nights later. In the immediate aftermath, Pierrot refused to yield his post as Seneschal until the investigation into Greggor's disappearance had confirmed his demise, and until the Domain gathered so that Praxis could, in accordance with proper decorum, be claimed in person. Greggor's successor as Prince, [[Cross Paige]], offered Pierrot a place as Keeper, which Pierrot publicly declined that evening. He has since maintained a low profile, while serving as one of his Prince's advisers on the Primogen Council.

The Primogen Council of the Marble Court chose him as their Harpy in the summer of 2012, and he continued to enjoy the Council's support after [[Eddie Dervish]] claimed Praxis following Prince Datillo's disappearance.

In the summer of 2013, Prince [[Greggor]], upon his ascension to the throne, named Pierrot his Seneschal. Greggor's reign was cut tragically short when he was assassinated by [[Ellie Xian]] six nights later. In the immediate aftermath, Pierrot refused to yield his post as Seneschal until the investigation into Greggor's disappearance had confirmed his demise, and until the Domain gathered so that Praxis could, in accordance with proper decorum, be claimed in person. Greggor's successor as Prince, [[Cross Paige]], offered Pierrot a place as Keeper, which Pierrot publicly declined that evening. He has since maintained a low profile, while serving as one of his Prince's advisers on the Primogen Council.

In November of 2013 at the tournament hosted by Prince [[Kelly]], Pierrot lost to the eventual victor in the melee, Seneschal [[Alicia Knight]] of Baltimore -- but their contest was so sporting that she awarded him her favor in support of his competition in the joust ... where he lost even more narrowly to the eventual champions, Prince [[Simon Ashe]] of Cleveland and his direwolf mount (also the Lady of Love and Beauty as crowned by Prince Ashe), Primogen [[Daciana Roman]] of Northern Virginia. Pierrot's mount was not as impressive as Primogen Roman, as it was not another Kindred, but was instead a steed which snorted smoke, breathed fire and was made entirely of metal, yet was somehow animated to act just like a "real" horse. While their joust required a fourth tilt to break the tied score after the standard three passes, many in the audience failed to see any of the action, as most of it took place within a shroud that was far blacker than the ''Long Night'' itself.

==Known History==
A woman with no name arrived at the Camarilla gathering of the Domain of "Suburban Maryland" in January of 2007. She had no memories of who she was, though she DID remember WHAT she was. She went by "Jane Doe" briefly, until [[Peaches]] named her "Alexandra Koslov" because it sounded Russian. She was questioned, and as she knew the Traditions and seemed to not be a recent embrace, she underwent a brief accounting before traveling with [[Jesse Clayborne]] and others of her family to Philadelphia, where she was Acknowledged by then Prince Travis Mansfield.

She maintained this identity for many years, eventually coming to serve as Malkavian Primogen of Annapolis under several Princes, starting with [[David Paul Barrington]], then [[Felix Hunter]], then [[Vincent Velario]] (the first time). Then, to many people's surprise, during the Conclave of 2010, she "quit" the Camarilla in the middle of her Clan meeting, in front of Justicar [[Maris Streck]] and Her Chief Archon, Knight. She was allowed to leave unhindered, and took this as tacit approval of her decision.

For the past three years, she maintained her residency of Annapolis as an Independent. She did "odd jobs" for various Princes and Officers of the Court, often accepting assignments that such prestigious individuals couldn't be seen to be connected with. She maintained good relationships with most citizens of the Ivory Tower, and seemed content with her lot in life.

Then, in January of 2013, seemingly out of nowhere (at least to those who weren't terribly close with her), she was (re) Acknowledged into the Camarilla by Prince Rook of Annapolis. When asked why, her reasons have varied depending on whom she was talking to. People may never get the full truth out of her when it comes to this decision.

In the time since, she has served the Domain as Deputy Sheriff, Primogen, and now Sheriff. It seems that, for whatever reason, she is fitting in with The Tower much better than her last attempt.
