A proud Artiste, through and through. Mégane was discovered in Paris, where she used to be one of the most promising ballerinas in the Opéra de Paris under the stage name Blanche la Fleurette. She often boasts about her many artistic accomplishments and the many operas, ballets and musicals she starred as time went by. One of her favorite things to claim is that she was the first French Odette and Odile. C’est-à-dire, she was the one who starred the Swan Lake ballet in its first Parisian rendition.

She was an orphaned rich heiress to a traditional family: the proud House d'Artois, descended from French nobility. By the end of her mortal life, Mégane became a protegée to Sophie de Lamare, a painter who fell in love with her heartfelt performances and who would later become her Sire.

She did not, however, follow Sophie to São Paulo when she left, a few years after her Embrace. Instead, she stayed in Europe under the protection of her cousin [[Ames de Lamare]]. For a long time, she jumped from city to city, never staying anywhere for longer than a few years. She lived in many countries and cities, but she definitely spent more time in Paris than every other place – she never missed an oportunity to go back to her beloved Ville Lumière, and even now, she refers to Paris as her true home.

During her many wanderings, she ended up landing in São Paulo time and time again, staying for a while before heading back to the world. She always seemed to come back, though, for in São Paulo resides the heart of her beloved family. It was here that she first met her Grand Sire, the former Prince lady Valérie de Lamare, during the Modern Art Week in 1922.

São Paulo was also the city that gave Mégane both her darling, beloved childer. During the 50s, she embraced her then-dance pupil Claudia de Lamare. Mégane never resented Claudia’s decision to not follow her footsteps as an Artiste (although she does find it to be a waste of talent) and lovingly refers to her Childe as her ‘wild rose’, or her ‘rose sauvage’, as it is.

Decades later, Mégane also adopted her fallen cousin Augusto’s childe, the musician Von Allan. It is said that she had also been present in São Paulo when the young lad was embraced, and that she was very close to both fledging and sire.

Nowadays, however, Mégane doesn’t seem to make any distinction between Claudia and Von Allan. She refers to both of them as her childer and loves them both passionately, being a dedicated, fierce and protective mentor to both of them.

This same heart-wrenching, mind-blowing passion also seems to apply to every single member of the de Lamare family. Mégane makes no effort to hide her undying, unconditional, excruciating love for her immortal family. She treats her Grand Sire, lady Valérie, with no less than sheer adoration and devotion, and her eyes sparkle whenever there’s another de Lamare in her company.

'''Life in São Paulo:'''

Mégane returned to São Paulo, seemingly for good, in August 2016. Oddly enough for a vampire her age, she arrived with no status other than Recognized, and very little stories to tell about her political involvement in other courts around the world.

Her settling down in São Paulo Camarilla was pretty shy at first, but little by little she ended up creating a certain fame and influence, partly helped by her family’s reputation (both good and bad). After the fall of Van Hooves, she declared full imediate support to the Brujah clan and to Dimitri de Castella’s permanence as a prince. She was then named primogen of Toreador clan in São Paulo and repeatedly used her influences over the media and the elite to help the institution.

After Lana renounced her position as Harpy, Mégane was the first candidate to the spot and initially had full support from the Primogen Council. It would be her second ascension in a couple of months.

However, everything changed during an Elysium reunion she could not attend. A Gangrel newcomer with a mysterious past showed up, being presented to the court of São Paulo. The girl displayed disturbing physical similarity to the absent Mégane – both face and figure. In fact, one could actually assume that is was Mégane herself, dressed in different clothes. Their odd similarity ended up unleashing all kind of rumors and accusations, and Mégane wasn’t there to answer to any of them.

Meanwhile, Prince Dimitri de Castella demanded an immediate election for Harpy, and a new candidate was presented: Amelia McKenzie, a Ventrue who was just arrived in São Paulo. Since the rumors about Mégane were running wild and that decision couldn’t wait any longer, the Primogen council had no choice but to elect McKenzie, despite Mégane’s allies’ attempt to gain the spot for her.

The following nights were harsh for the Toreador Primogen. The once popular and trusted beauty now faced everyone’s suspicions. No one seemed to believe she even was who she claimed to be. Many would think that would be the end of the Dancing Rose, but that assumption proved itself to be untrue when, little over a month later, Mégane was publicly declared innocent and cleared of all charges by the Prince, who then proceeded to award her the status of Loyal.

And then, after another month went by, Amelia renounced her position as Harpy and a new election took place. This time, Mégane was unanimously elected with full support of the Court and proceeded to be named Harpy of São Paulo.

- The episode of McKenzie’s ellection created a huge grudge between Mégane and Ventrue Primogen Carola Van Hooves. They seemed to absolutely despise each other, but one day, the Prince summoned them both into his office and they walked out of it holding arms, talking and smiling at each other. Ever since then, they treat each other as close friends, but one never knows what the true colors of this relation might be - or what the hell the Prince did to change their minds about each other.

- She is publicly known to be a lover to Gangrel Primogen Red, and their relation was used against her when the rumors about her started to arise. However, they remained close and never ceased to present themselves as personal and political allies.

- Out of all the rumors that are said about her, the only thing Mégane confirms is the existence of her twin sister, Manon. She confirms that Manon was a Gangrel and a member of the Sabbat, and that she met her Final Death in the beggining of 2018.

A proud Artiste, through and through. Mégane was discovered in Paris, where she used to be one of the most promising ballerinas in the Opéra de Paris under the stage name Blanche la Fleurette. She often boasts about her many artistic accomplishments and the many operas, ballets and musicals she starred as time went by. One of her favorite things to claim is that she was the first French Odette and Odile. C’est-à-dire, she was the one who starred the Swan Lake ballet in its first Parisian rendition.

She was an orphaned rich heiress to a traditional family: the proud House d'Artois, descended from French nobility. By the end of her mortal life, Mégane became a protegée to Sophie de Lamare, a painter who fell in love with her heartfelt performances and who would later become her Sire.

She did not, however, follow Sophie to São Paulo when she left, a few years after her Embrace. Instead, she stayed in Europe under the protection of her cousin [[Ames de Lamare]]. For a long time, she jumped from city to city, never staying anywhere for longer than a few years. She lived in many countries and cities, but she definitely spent more time in Paris than every other place – she never missed an oportunity to go back to her beloved Ville Lumière, and even now, she refers to Paris as her true home.

During her many wanderings, she ended up landing in São Paulo time and time again, staying for a while before heading back to the world. She always seemed to come back, though, for in São Paulo resides the heart of her beloved family. It was here that she first met her Grand Sire, the former Prince lady Valérie de Lamare, during the Modern Art Week in 1922.

São Paulo was also the city that gave Mégane both her darling, beloved childer. During the 50s, she embraced her then-dance pupil Claudia de Lamare. Mégane never resented Claudia’s decision to not follow her footsteps as an Artiste (although she does find it to be a waste of talent) and lovingly refers to her Childe as her ‘wild rose’, or her ‘rose sauvage’, as it is.

Decades later, Mégane also adopted her fallen cousin Augusto’s childe, the musician Von Allan. It is said that she had also been present in São Paulo when the young lad was embraced, and that she was very close to both fledging and sire.

Nowadays, however, Mégane doesn’t seem to make any distinction between Claudia and Von Allan. She refers to both of them as her childer and loves them both passionately, being a dedicated, fierce and protective mentor to both of them.

This same heart-wrenching, mind-blowing passion also seems to apply to every single member of the de Lamare family. Mégane makes no effort to hide her undying, unconditional, excruciating love for her immortal family. She treats her Grand Sire, lady Valérie, with no less than sheer adoration and devotion, and her eyes sparkle whenever there’s another de Lamare in her company.

Mégane returned to São Paulo, seemingly for good, in August 2016. Oddly enough for a vampire her age, she arrived with no status other than Recognized, and very little stories to tell about her political involvement in other courts around the world.

Her settling down in São Paulo Camarilla was pretty shy at first, but little by little she ended up creating a certain fame and influence, partly helped by her family’s reputation (both good and bad). After the fall of Van Hooves, she declared full imediate support to the Brujah clan and to Dimitri de Castella’s permanence as a prince. She was then named primogen of Toreador clan in São Paulo and repeatedly used her influences over the media and the elite to help the institution.

After Lana renounced her position as Harpy, Mégane was the first candidate to the spot and initially had full support from the Primogen Council. It would be her second ascension in a couple of months.

However, everything changed during an Elysium reunion she could not attend. A Gangrel newcomer with a mysterious past showed up, being presented to the court of São Paulo. The girl displayed disturbing physical similarity to the absent Mégane – both face and figure. In fact, one could actually assume that is was Mégane herself, dressed in different clothes. Their odd similarity ended up unleashing all kind of rumors and accusations, and Mégane wasn’t there to answer to any of them.

Meanwhile, Prince Dimitri de Castella demanded an immediate election for Harpy, and a new candidate was presented: Amelia McKenzie, a Ventrue who was just arrived in São Paulo. Since the rumors about Mégane were running wild and that decision couldn’t wait any longer, the Primogen council had no choice but to elect McKenzie, despite Mégane’s allies’ attempt to gain the spot for her.

The following nights were harsh for the Toreador Primogen. The once popular and trusted beauty now faced everyone’s suspicions. No one seemed to believe she even was who she claimed to be. Many would think that would be the end of the Dancing Rose, but that assumption proved itself to be untrue when, little over a month later, Mégane was publicly declared innocent and cleared of all charges by the Prince, who then proceeded to award her the status of Loyal.

And then, after another month went by, Amelia renounced her position as Harpy and a new election took place. This time, Mégane was unanimously elected with full support of the Court and proceeded to be named Harpy of São Paulo.

They seemed to absolutely despise each other, but one day, the Prince summoned them both into his office and they walked out of it holding arms, talking and smiling at each other. Ever since then, they treat each other as close friends, but one never knows what the true colors of this relation might be - or what the hell the Prince did to change their minds about each other.
